Exact Tooth as Shown in Image - Professionally Restored Monster Megalodon Prehistoric Fossilized Shark Tooth
Details: We are very excited to be able to offer an extremely rare 7.253 Inch (184.2mm) Monster Megalodon Fossil Shark Tooth that has been professionally restored by the world reknown Megaldon restoration artist....Matty Swilp. This particular tooth is a 20 million year old Carcharocles Megalodon Shark Tooth Fossil that I personally found and recovered in 105' of very deep ocean water off the East Coast of North Carolina in July, 2018. It measures 7.253 Inch (184.2mm) long and weighs in at an impressive 1 lb - 10.2 oz (746g). As many of you may know, the Carcharocles Megalodon was a prehistoric shark that lived during the Miocene and Pliocene periods (2 to 20 million years ago). It was the largest and most ferocious top predator that has ever existed. The Megalodon was thought to be as long as 75 feet and weighed up to 75 tons. This is equivalent to 7 or 8 full grown Tyrannosaurus Rex dinosaurs. A full grown female adult was the size of a greyhound bus and with a mouth as large as 11' wide x 9.5' high, they could easily attack and swallow their main food source.... warm blooded whales. The giant 6' dorsal fin sliced through the water with ease and the pectoral fins were an alarming 8' long. The massive 20' tail (from tip to tip) was as high as a 2 story building.
