Details: Designed for large powerful fish in open water.... JBL's break-away Gulf Slip Tip configuration is 3" (76 mm) in length. Tip is made from corrosion resistant hardened 17-4 stainless steel and features a multi-braid stainless cable in 3/32" (2.38mm) diameter for long life and durability. The tip's rear fixed barbs cause the point to turn sideways after entering the fish so it will hang on no matter how hard the fight while minimizing damage to your spear shaft. The low-profile, double barbed design with Tri-Cut point allows for pinpoint accuracy penetrating power and dependable deployment. Due to the attached cable, removal of the spear point is made easier. Don't trust a once in a lifetime fish to anything else.
