300' long building next door burned to the ground and runs parallel along the backside of Poseidon Adventures. There is only 20' between the two parallel buildings and so far, damage and rebuild estimates to our building (shown to the right) is over $250,000.
As you may know, I started a Go Fund Me for my Dad to help him reopen his scuba shop, Poseidon Adventures Dive Center following a recent devastating fire that involved more than 12 fire companies and 3 ladder trucks. He's had to close his doors for the first time in 37 years and he's going to need help to reopen his business along with covering daily living expenses for the next 6 to 12 months.
So many people have been offering to help and it seems like the most help that he really needs is going to be financial help in order to get through the coming months and help recover from everything he's lost from the fire, water, smoke and ash.
Many of Poseidon's friends and family are well aware that my Dad has been involved in recovering prehistoric fossilized Shark's Teeth over the last 20 years.
I approached him on the subject of donating prehistoric fossilized Shark's Teeth to anyone who contributes to my Fundraiser (through Zelle, GoFundMe or check) and he came up with a very fun way of thanking everyone who makes a donation.
First of all, everyone who makes a donation of any amount will receive a necklace size prehistoric Mako Shark's Tooth from Morocco that is approximately 60 million years old. It is wrapped in gold tone wire and is an excellent accessory to wear.
Secondly, for every $500 donation, the donor will receive a 20 million year old prehistoric fossilized Megalodon Shark's Tooth. For example, a donor offering a $1,000 donation will receive two teeth in the 3.5" to 4.5" size range, similar to the tooth in the photo below. Unfortunately, this size is limited to existing stock.
Third of all, everyone who makes a donation of any amount will be entered into a raffle to win this exact 20 million year old prehistoric fossilized Megalodon Shark's Tooth that is 6.01" as shown in the image below.
The rules are simple. For every $20 donation, the donor will have one entry ticket entered into the raffle. For example, a $20 donation will receive one entry ticket and a $200 donation will receive 10 entry tickets. The larger the donation, the better chance of winning this rare and genuine Megalodon Shark Tooth.
Please note that multiple donations from the same donor will be combined to reach their desired donation level and all previous donors will be included in this fun Shark Tooth Giveaway.
All teeth will be shipped to your delivery address within 4 weeks of your donation and the raffle for the valuable 6.01" Megalodon Shark will be drawn during Poseidon Adventures Grand Reopening Celebration Party (Date to be determined).
